Day4: Out with my darling

I know. We look like hoodlums. I blame her.  This is my run around town look. I kinda am not a fan of the ‘flip-flop’ UNLESS there is a beach nearby. Sandals are totally fine though A simple white tank and scarf complete the look. Happy Thursday! Are you doing anything great this coming weekend?

Day3: Blue & Black

Okay. So this week has been really busy. I apologize to the thousands who have been sitting around today waiting for this post. I have been learning a lot about myself and what I want this blog to be about. I talked my best girl Alice yesterday and she spoke such great truth into my life. This post would not be here if it weren’t for her. I love you Alice. Okay. Pants…No wait. One more thing. On a more serious note, I made corned beef & cabbage for dinner.... Read The Rest →

Blue pants: Out with the gals

Today is absolutely gorgeous. I would be fine if the weather wanted to be like this forever (I think it is like this most days some magical little place called San Francisco). Anywho.. Pairing these pants with a printed tank and wrap cardigan are just perfect for the spring weather. It doesn’t get much easier than this. You could always add a flower pin to the cardigan if you want to add a bit more too the look. Easy Breezy. Have a  wonderful Tuesday!

Blue pants: It’s business time

I am hoping that everyone had a wonderful weekend! As you can see, those blue pants won the vote so you will get to see them all week long! Woo hoo!! I am not sure what your employer would say if you walked into the boring, stuffy office wearing these pants, but I would love to find out. This is my little mullet outfit: business up top, spring party below. *However, if you do get in trouble for wearing bright pants, you can blame me Send your boss this link.... Read The Rest →

This or That: Blue pants/Pink shirt

It’s time for another This or That vote! This week, I have some thrifted blue cropped pants or this light pink button down shirt. Which item do you want to see next week styled 5 different ways? The goal is to help you to get some ideas on how to re-work things in your own closet.  The voting will end Sunday night. Your comment is your vote so tell me which item you want and HOW you would like to see it styled (i.e. business attire, traveling, play date..). Ready.Set.Comment.... Read The Rest →

Scarf~Day5

Yesterday was amazing! Had a great time with some wonderful photographers and the Jasmine Star event was beyond inspiring. It has been a great week and I hope your week has been amazing. It’s Friday!! It’s the last day of the scarf. I think my favourite  was Day3. Today, I wanted to show you the most traditional option. The scarf around the neck can look very ‘flight attendant’ so keep that in mind (not that it is necessarily a bad thing~the KLM flight attendants look AMAZING!). I hope you have... Read The Rest →

Scarf~Day4

I look forward to this day. I will be spending my day in DC with some great photographers then I will get to sit at the feet of a photographer that I truly admire. It’s gonna be awesome. I hope you pursue your dream a bit more today. Keep fighting for it. Why is it so hard and, at times, painful to work towards our dreams?  I am not sure either but something tells me that it will be worth it. Not a sermon/just a thought. I got all contemplative... Scarf~Day3

Yes I am having a great day because of yesterday. It was amazing for so many reasons: #1. My hubs and I were featured in MagRouge. Crazy. We are on pg 56 and my little happy face is also on pg4. Never thought our pics would end up in a magazine. #2. My wonderful friend came over and I made the best dang lentil burgers ever. I mean EVER. I am about to quit this styling stuff and become a chef. #3. I actually went to Bikram yoga and it kicked my... Read The Rest →

Scarf~Day2

It is almost FRIDAY! Just kidding. Have you tried to wear a scarf as a cuff? Well, let me tell you that you should. I do NOT, however,  want to see a bunch of people walking around with huge knit scarves on their arms. That is not okay. If you have a small silk scarf then just wrap it around your wrist and you can either tie it or wrap the end underneath. What do you think?

Week #3: Scarf~Day1

Happy Monday! I hope you accomplished what you wanted this weekend. I ate some fabulous food, went to Bikram yoga AND Crossfit, and had some wonderful family time in D.C. Okay, you voted for the scarf so here we go: This scarf, that I found at a thrift store, is one of my favourites. It has a huge scarecrow on it (maybe I’ll show you later in the week). I decided to wear it as a belt today. Easy breezy. During this week,  I am going to stay in this... Read The Rest →
